Once again, we spent time in a breathtakingly beautiful city, and took an embarrassing few number of photos to remember it by. In our defense this time, it was Winter there, which meant it was quite cold, rainy and windy … and one of us was also sick for a good bit of our stay. Thus we made the conscious decision to spent a lot of time in our warm, comfy Airbnb instead of sightseeing in a cold, rainy and windy Wellington. Yeah, we’re kind of old and lame.
To make up for the lack of photos we took of Wellington, we’ll add some photos taken of travels from our long distant past, featuring a much younger Angela & a much younger Chris … back when we were much less old and lame. Hope you enjoy!

Good to see Wellington & the other earlier shots. I hardley recognized you 2. Enjoy Auckland & soccer too.
Cheers !! Robin
Thank Robin! Yeah, it definitely seems like completely different people in the earlier shots … it was so long ago!
Exciting. Great shots, old and new!., ❤️🌈
Thanks Joline! 😊🙏
The much youngers need attitude adjustments, clearly. Too many waterfalls and spider monkeys and middle finger attitude. <3
Yup, attitude is right … now I know why nobody liked us back then. Such frickin’ youthful punks!
Sorry to hear about your downtime. Thanks for sharing your photos from your past. Still traveling after all these intervening years. Never gets old even though we do. Hopefully the digs are much more comfortable as well as the modes of transportation.
Unfortunately, the more we travel as old people, the more our delicate immune systems seem to factor into things. All good now tho! Especially since we’re health and heading north into more temperate climates : )
No! Not Illness Downtime! I hope it wasn’t from the beef ?
(get it, Beef Wellington ;~)
So, now you got that out of the way. Stay Well from this time forward.
Great pics all the same. Keep them coming!!
No, couldn’t have been the Beef Wellington since we don’t eat the red meats. It could have been the Chicken Wellington though … Is that a thing?? 😝
Loved the Auckland & Sydney pics. Sydney Bay looks more interesting than S.F. Bay. Thought I’d never say that about another bay. Will you remain in Australia for a while ??
Robin
Yes, Sydney Bay is very interesting and beautiful. More so than SF?? I’ll be diplomatic and say jury is still out ; p
We’ll be in Australia until Oct 4th.
