From Chamonix in the French Alps, we took a bus to Geneva, then a train to Iseltwald on Lake Brienzersee at the base of the Swiss Alps. After witnessing a lovely sunset over the lake, we jumped on another train that took us to the alpine village of Grindelwald, which sits just below the imposing shadow of the Eiger.
