Southern Wales

After spending a very pleasant seven days in London, we boarded a Great Western Railway train bound for Cardiff City. We spent an even more pleasant few days in the company of our nephew’s in-laws, Clive and Lucy-Ann. We also picked up the Thunder Puffin – our little home on wheels for the next five to six months. Clive had it parked in his driveway, waiting for us in much better shape than we left it! Then he helped us install an electrical hookup and a sink in it! So amazing!! Or is that just your average Welshman? Either way, thanks Clive!

Here’s a photo gallery from our week spent in South Wales. Enjoy!

    1. It’s lovely and we’ve really lucked out with the weather.
The Joneses have been so generous and welcoming! They even introduced us to eating parsnips – very tasty!

  1. We are all so lucky to be able to call Clive and Lucy-Ann family! I suppose that goes for Meg and Cruz, too. Love seeing the Thunder Puffin in sunshine. Awesome!

    1. Yes, we are very lucky indeed! Unfortunately, I’m not sure if it’s the same in reverse … given they have to deal with a bunch of lame , embarrassing Yanks showing up on their doorstep all the time now 😝

    1. We miss you guys too. Climbing in a old church is nice, but there’s nothing quite like a GV morning crew session 😊

    1. The weather has been beyond fabulous the entire time we’ve been here. Enchanting, yet surprising.
