The New Zealand gold country. This gold mining ghost town, located just outside of Cromwell, was at its height around the same time as the California gold rush.
Located along the Kawarau River, the ghost town is now a tourist attraction called the Kawarau Gorge Mining Centre
The New Zealand State Highway 6 Kawarau Bridge spans the Kawarau River just before entering Queenstown

The Kawarau Gorge Suspension Bridge, home of the world’s first permanent commercial bungee jumping site. It is the culmination of a long line of events starting with the ‘vine jumping’ ritual, which was carried out by certain natives of Vanuatu.
