Pura Ulun Danu Bratan

The beautiful, garden-like temple of Ulun Danu Bratan was built in 1633 on small islands along the shores of Lake Bratan. It is a water temple devoted to Dewi Danu, the goddess of lakes & rivers. It is the main water temple in central Bali, as the lake is the main source of irrigation water for the surrounding outflow area there.
