Here are some photos from a day trip we took to the island of Moorea. Enjoy!
Here’s a photo of Moorea we took from the Puna‘auia coastline before heading to the Gare Maritime de Papeete, where we boarded a car ferry bound for Moorea
It takes about an hour to get to Moorea on one of these larger car ferries
After landing on Moorea, we drove to the north side of the island. Here’s a shot of the cliffs that hang over Cook’s Bay.

Here’s a view looking to the island’s interior from the base of Opunohu Bay.
Heading into the islands interior, we drove to Belvedere Lookout and than hiked to the Three Coconuts Lookout.
The Three Coconuts Trail is a 5.5 mile out and back hike that traverses below Moorea’s highest ridgeline, with Mount Tohiea at it’s highest point, at 3,960 feet
