Sorely missing any kind of actual social interaction, we decided to form a backpacking bubble with our friends, Joe and Amber, and Chris’s brother, Nick. We backpacked for five days into the Desolation Wilderness. So many gorgeous lakes and incredible views – plus, fun camaraderie that can’t be beat!
We had beautiful weather for the entire backpacking trip!

Joe and Amber, stoked to be out on the trail!
I know those places! And those people! Love Desolation; it’s definitely worth a revisit sometime.
Just let us know when you can go and we’re there!
Say hi to Joe. Snakes are amazing, both in their ability to get around, and their different colors.
Also say hi to your Bro. It’s been a while for both of them. They look well.
Will do. Everyone’s well – finally all got vaccinated!
