Most likely location for retirement. Fabulous photos. How are you liking the bay of islands?
Bay of Islands is absolutely beautiful. We didn’t take advantage of the diving & snorkeling, but everyone said it’s world class. Lots of property for sale … a bit remote, but if that’s what you like!
Yes. Remoteness not good, but there is a certain number of tourists for social engagement. We can institute Maori re-enactments and scare the bejeebers out of them at night. Brainstorming here, but really, not likely.
So you are in the South Island already. I may have missed it, but did you already stop by Abel Tasman?
