Unfortunately, we didn’t get to spend much time in Valencia, and definitely didn’t get to experience the best of what the city has to offer. Valencia is known for it’s world class beaches, and people argue that the city is home of the best paella in Spain … both of which we failed to partake of in our brief visit.
With all that in mind, here are a few pics of our blind wonderings through the streets of Valencia … enjoy!
This is the Valencia Cathedral. It claims to be the final resting place of the Holy Grail ... one of hundreds of claimants vying for the illustrious distinction : )
Here is the chamber containing the Holy Grail itself! You can see it in the alcove way in the back if you look closely.
Many skeptics actually believe that the Valencia Cathedral’s claim is the most likely though. Here’s a stock picture of the grail. It’s been carbon dated to the correct date, and is made of dark red agate with a golden stem.
